"Do You Think?"

Do you think the Lord God,

Is worried or in fear,

About our current trouble,

Or what transpires here?

Do you think His healing,

Or His saving power,

Has somehow found a limit,

In our current hour?

Do you think that evil,

Will have the final say,

And all that God has promised,

Is too late for today?

I do not believe it,

Though everything goes wrong,

I know the Spirit’s power,

Still to us belongs.

Lord, send us revival,

Wake Your sleeping bride,

Energize Your body,

Prophetically confide.

And we in perseverance,

Still our race will run,

Looking unto Jesus,

Till final victory’s won.

Look up to Him, my brother,

And sister, find your pace,

For very soon He’s coming,

And we will see His face.

“Now all glory to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more that we might ask or imagine…” (Eph. 3:20, NLT)

It’s hard to believe it when we are struggling, or remember it when things keep going wrong, but God is able to do more through us that we can ask or imagine. That’s a very powerful thought. But, like I say, if you don’t feel His power or see His power, or you’ve been disappointed when the miracle you prayed for didn’t happen, I understand why you would wonder. We all have at times. Why this? Why now? Why doesn’t God do something? Why can’t I just catch one break? There are no easy answers, but refocusing helps, and it’s much more about what we choose than how we feel. I choose to believe, even when I don’t understand. I choose to trust Him, even when I don’t know where the solution will emerge. I commit myself even when there is uncertainty about the next step. I choose it because it’s true whether it feels or looks like it or not. He is able to do more than I think. Through me. To accomplish infinitely more by the power of the Holy Spirit within me. Regroup. Refocus. Choose, in Jesus’ name.

Lord, help us to believe what You say no matter what anyone or anything else tells us, in Jesus’ name.
