"Far Away"

Far, far away, they always say,

There was a day, and come what may,

The sun’s bright ray, and ocean’s spray,

From shore to bay, brought peace to stay.

How could that day from far away,

Bring peace to stay, I hear you say.

That’s how God shows, that His love grows,

Everyone knows, and there it goes,

To all He chose, we’re one of those,

In highs and lows, His grace arose.

It’s there you see, and real can be,

For God’s decree, a timeless plea.

And there because, within God’s laws,

Claus after claus reveals His cause,

To heal our flaws and press the pause,

On sin’s dark claws, and hell’s wide jaws.

Timeless plea, it’s meant to be,

When God’s real cause will heal our flaws.

You think a day will still hold sway,

What desperate need, soon will concede,

To what the Lord has well-decreed,

Oh, yes, I do, and so should you.

“And now we testify and proclaim to you that He is the one who is eternal life.” (1 John 1:2, NLT)

God created all there is one day long ago. God sent His Son into the world one day. Jesus died for our sins one day, an on the third was raised from the dead. Days matter. The day came when all that I knew about Jesus became a life-changing experience with Him. How? On a day in 1970, I surrendered my life to Him. The Bible tells us that God is the One who entered human existence in order to rescue us from sin and death. But never let what you know about Him, prevent you from actually knowing Him. He is life, and when the spiritual connection is real, everything changes. And nothing is strong enough to prevent this from happening when we open our hearts.

Lord, we open our hearts and ask You to give us eternal life, in Jesus’ name.
