"End"

If you feed the monsters,

They will feed on you,

You can’t flirt with the devil,

And follow Jesus too.

The darkness is alive and well,

The lines are being drawn,

Jesus Christ is coming back,

And might not take too long.

The posers and pretenders,

The hypocrites, lukewarm,

The ones who never knew the Lord,

But kept a churchy form,

Will find the Judge of humankind,

Meant everything He said,

And you can’t be the bride of Christ,

And sleep in satan’s bed.

Every wrong God will make right,

Dry all His children’s tears,

Eternity with Him in charge,

Ends all of history’s years.

Be ready when the trumpet sounds,

The day of grace is here,

But judgment’s knocking at the door,

And no one knows how near.

“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” (Revelation 21:4, NIV)

Here is a beautiful description of God’s future. For God’s kids, all the pain of our former lives is totally removed. For those who rejected God’s grace, they will be judged by the One who has never misjudged anyone. Some believe the manifestation of God’s rule is imminent, and we certainly ought to live in readiness and eager expectation of the return of Jesus. Even so come, Lord Jesus.

Lord, we look forward to that eternal day when all tears are wiped away, in Jesus’ name.
