"Life's Wrangle"

The tangle of life’s wrangle,

Leaves our lives tied up in knots,

Any wonder we fall under,

Old slew-foot and his plots.

But the Savior gives us favor,

When we humble down and pray,

If we listen there’s no missin’,

The words we’ll hear Him say.

Then His Spirit, we will hear it,

When He speaks the truth in love,

Yes, we need it and we’ll heed it,

When the grace flows from above.

He directs us and corrects us,

And the strong anointing give,

Filled with power every hour,

That we work and fight and live.

Never fearing  cause we’re hearing,

That strong prophetic truth,

If we’re honest what He’s promised,

We’ve been certain since our youth.

Exchanged weakness for completeness,

And all we ever need,

Our disaster He will master,

For we bear eternal seed.

Chosen children who are buildin’,

The place His glory dwells,

It’s organic and dynamic,

When the Spirit’s power swells.

Never doubt it, let us shout it,

The Lord has set us free,

We believe it and receive it,

We are His eternally.

“…strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience; joyously giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints of light.” (Colossians 1:11-12 NAS)

These verses talk about receiving God’s strength, steadfastness, patience and joy. It is all these things and more that qualify us to receive everything God has planned to be our eternal inheritance. He call u s the “saints of light,” and that is because we have received the light of God’s grace. We cannot qualify ourselves, but He does. And because He does, we are able to do anything and everything He calls us to do. We have become something other than what we used to be, in order to do what we otherwise coudl have never done. But now we can. Hallelujah.

Lord, empower us to do all You have qualified us to do, in Jesus’ name.
