"Love Grown Cold"

Love grown cold, life cheaply sold,

Death is dealt just as the devil plans,

Thank God, a miss, but look at this,

We saw the shielding of the Good Lord’s hands.

The threat is real and we should feel,

Thankful though it’s still a wake-up call,

Good men stand for freedom’s brand,

And fight the evil that can kill us all.

Love everyone and leave out none,

Speak the truth in love at every turn,

Don’t cave to fear however near,

Listen for what God wants us to learn.

Pray and war and know the score,

The battle is as real as it can be,

Don’t discount, the fierce amount,

Of hate that all of us might have to see.

Not flesh and blood but satan’s flood,

In Jesus’ name we must now resist,

Draw the line, let your light shine,

The presence of the Lord is in your midst.

“Because lawlessness is increased and most people’s love will grow cold…” (Matthew 24:12, NAS)

Jesus talked about the last days as a time of hatred, lawlessness, and love growing cold. Hours ago an attempt was made to assassinate former president Trump in Pennsylvania. One person was killed and several more wounded. Our nation is not okay, and every honest person knows it. The struggle against evil is real, and the spiritual warfare will only intensify as we get closer to the coming of the Lord. Find a place of prayer and let us be vigilant, in Jesus’ name.

Lord, have mercy on our nation, in Jesus ‘name.
