"Woke"

I’m just about to choke,

On everything that’s “woke,”

It’s really just about the devil’s lie.

The seeds of chaos sown,

The harvest clearly shown,

A strategy to make our nation die.

‘Cause what the devil steals,

The struggle’s very real,

The thing at risk is our identity.

If that, in fact, is lost,

And all too great the cost,

We lose who God intends for us to be.

When who we really are,

In God’s eyes a rising star,

But the thief will steal, kill and destroy.

Gender is God’s gift,

But now has caused a rift,

When a boy can’t tell that he’s a boy.

Please hear me when I say,

God loves all those astray,

And Jesus died for each and every one.

But calling wrong the right,

And darkness called the light,

Shows by deception we are overrun.

So wake to Christ indeed,

And let nothing impede,

Turning to the Lord, away from  sin.

Our blinded hearts to heal,

And power to change that’s real.

He will free us from the mess we’re in.

“Awake, sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.” (Ephesians 5:14, NAS)

Darkness dulls and dumbs us down. The lies of the enemy are designed to deceive us and steal our spiritual identity. God-given identity is replaced by a personal choice to “identify” as this or that, when only God can tell us who we really are. We are created male and female in the image of God, and that’s why the enemy has attacked this area and deceived so many people. He hates anything that reflects the Creator and His love. May God help us wake up to the truth of God’s word

Lord, wake us up and keep us awake, in Jesus’ name..
