"Lies"

They can’t tell the difference,

In a woman and a man,

Forgive my cowboy ignorance,

If I don’t understand.

How chaotic and confusing,

That really seems to me,

Something that’s so obvious,

But they refuse to see.

They also think its normal,

To break all of God’s laws,

Ridicule the ones who don’t,

And it’s all because,

They’ve caught a deadly virus,

That they can’t diagnose,

And it has caused a blindness,

To death they’re very close.

But they are plumb proud of it,

Tell my grandkids and my kids,

Don’t listen to the cowboy,

And they should just get rid,

Of any sense of right and wrong,

Throw out any absolute,

About life and morality,

When evil has its root,

In lies and those who tell them,

And the father of them all,

Who steals, kills, and destroys us,

That old devil, you recall.

So here and now is notice,

And a line drawn in the sand,

If you and yours come after me,

Right here I’ll take my stand.

And in the name of Jesus,

I say get out of here,

I confess the blood of Jesus,

And will not have you near.

I bind all of my loved ones,

To God’s highest and His best,

And loose ‘em all in Jesus’ name,

From the devil and the rest.

We will not tolerate him,

Won’t let our children go,

And even if it kills us,

We wanted him to know,

That Jesus is our victory,

And heaven is our home,

We have the Holy Spirit,

You’d best leave us alone.

“You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the One who is in you is greater than the one who works in the world.” (1 John 4:4, NIV)

The line between the influence of darkness and light has always been a bold one. But that line is getting bolder as we get closer to the return of Jesus Christ to this world. It was not very long ago that if someone suggested that sexuality was a matter of human choice and not biology, they would have been labeled ridiculous. But here we are. If you think this does not matter consider the underlying truth that we are created male and female in the image of God. To say otherwise is to reject God Himself, which is indeed the agenda. A postmodern, post Christian world rejects God and dehumanizes men and women. Here’s the good news: greater is He that is in us! Don’t forget it.

Lord, help us to resist the lies of satan, in Jesus’ name.
