"See"

The remedy, is clear, you see,

For all to whom He gave,

Healing came, in Jesus’ name,

He has the power to save.

But only those who humbly chose,

The One who chose them first,

After the fact, they don’t look back,

But know He quenched their thirst.

Whoever will, He seeks us still,

He died so all may know,

Then rose again, so life won’t end,

His matchless grace to show.

Some outside, I will confide,

Don’t understand at all,

Reject what’s true, think they can do,

Without the Savior’s call.

We do not judge, nor will we budge,

We point them to the light,

Show love sincere, and make it clear,

That we care about their plight.

Do we fuss, fume and cuss,

The choices that they make,

Not a chance, but daily dance,

Invite them to partake,

In life so strong and they belong,

As much as ever we,

He loves so much and He will touch,

All those who can’t yet see.

“And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. The god of this world has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ…” (2 Corinthians 4:3-4, NIV)

The Good News of Jesus Christ is a simple message. So simple, in fact, that a child can understand the redemption story. So why is it misunderstood? These verses explain it. The god of this world, the devil, is in the deception business. His primary task is to blind people’s minds to the truth. But God is the great healer of spiritual blindness, and will use our testimony to help people see the light. Keep on loving them, praying for them and inviting them to the dance.

Lord, help us to love people who do not yet know You, in Jesus’ name.
