"Words of Love"

There is a time for everything,

You find it in God’s word,

And today my heart will sing,

Because of what I’ve heard.

The Good News is the old news,

That I’ve known since just a boy,

But listening to the Spirit,

I felt the special joy,

Of hearing Him say once again,

I love you, son, I do,

The words that started up the day,

I know them to be true.

So when’s the very best of all,

Time for love we need,

I’d say every morning,

And if we will take heed,

We’ll start the day by giving thanks,

And end it just the same,

Letting all God’s love flow through,

All day in Jesus’ name.

Hear the love, just listen up,

Tune out the other sound,

The love is flowing loud and clear,

It’s the best thing I have found.

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.” (John 3:16, NAS)

God loves you. Do you know God loves you? Have you heard Him say it to you? When did you feel the grace of God in your life the strongest? You may be thinking that I really don’t know you, so how can I say that God loves you. I can say it because first, I have experienced it personally. And secondly, I believe what the Bible says. God so loved the world, and that includes everyone. Jesus died for all so that whoever believes can be saved. It’s the best news of all!

Lord, help us know Your love and make it known, in Jesus’ name.
